I start by it off with a new purchase I just got in the mail, a 12 disc box set of the complete 1983 TVB version of 'The Return Of The Condor Heroes' with Andy Lau and Idy Chan. It's based on the novel by Jin Yong.
Many consider this version of ROTCH to be the definitive version (there have been several tv and film adaptions). The discs are R0 with english subtitles. The picture quality is very good for something that is over 20 years old. I've only watched on episode so far (there are 59 eps total). The look and feel is very eighties (in a CHINESE GHOST STORY/MR VAMPIRE way) that if you like the films from that period you'll be comfortable with it. The action isn't non-stop, but there's plenty of it, along with intrigue and romance. The set isn't cheap, $140 from yesasia, but it's worth it.

18 years, 6 months ago at Jan 26 19:35 - The shop I like to use is Buyoyo.com, sometimes also DDDHouse.com, because I don't have a credit card, and they accept Visa Electron + Verified by Visa. The prices are usually cheaper than Yesasia. You can order a DVD for 5€ (and that INCLUDES postage!)
