Reorganizing groups

The groups area hasn't really worked so far as there is not enough people to sustain all these individual forums. So I'm converting it into basically one big forum. Currently you can now post a thread without joining a group to make things easier and you can also post a thread without a group attached. Things I'm planning to do soon :
1. have a few official groups e.g. movies, games, music & books.
2. Sort out the navigation and headers
3. Add add an option to set your groups as private so the threads do not appear in the main list.
4. Have options to view all your own threads and threads you have participated in
5. Change the general design.
These upgrades will be added tomorrow
I will also try and answer the unanswered threads over the next few days

Aw...
I kinda liked the way groups are...sure, they haven't gotten critical mass yet, but I have faith that they will eventually. :)
It might be simpler to replace the groups with a "forums" area; the UBB interface (www.ubbcentral.com)is pretty widely used and configurable and familiar, and might be easy to graft in...
...and now that I poke around a bit, I like the way it's set up now, too. I'll just wait and see what your changes tomorrow look like before I open my big mouth and complain. :)

Well it is a forum basically, it's just not organised in the exact same way as forums like ubb and vbulletin.
I've now added in a simple search function which has been requested quite a few times, quick buttons to view threads you've started and contributed to.
