Region 4

I don't know if anyone will join this group and right now I am talking to myself, but if anyone reads this I'd really love to know how to input Region 4 DVD movies. It totally gives me the shits that I can have Region 1 & 2, but nothing in my home region.

I know, I noticed the same thing so I have a heap of movies in my DVD collection that I technically don't have (due to region). But so far, I haven't figured it out.

To input them? If you click on the add button then go to option three - Click to add a custom.... there's a form. Fill it out and away you go!

Indeed, but that's also a lot of DVD's to add manually.

It can be done, I'm doing it. Roughly a quarter of my collection is R0, 2 (Japan), 3, or 4. There's still quite a bit that I haven't gotten in yet, but I've still managed to get alot of them entered. I'm at the point where I enter new ones automatically, but my backlog is still hovering around 200ish I think (mostly asian (R2 & R3/R0) movies).

A solution for now would be add the ones that are available on region 1 or 2 and in the future you will be able to mark this as region 4.

Ones that aren't available on region 1/2, unfortunately yes you have to enter these manually at the moment.

coyoteblue: I'm not doubting it can be done. It just needs a lot of time and less laziness. :P I have a lot of DVDs to add, but kind of holding off. I've added a few just as region 1/2, so I guess I'll just continue doing that for now unless I need to add a region 4 manually. Essentially, the movies are the same ones anyway.
