Regarding Duplicates

While I understand that moderators must clean up the vast amount of images that have been uploaded to the site throughout the years I do hope they continue the policy set by previous mods of choosing the image with the superior quality above the lesser. Often blurry smudged images, being of an inferior quality are uploaded years previously (most likely because there wasn't a better alternative at that time) , while the images may have been uploaded previous to newer uploads (and some regard that as a merit in itself) it was always the case that in order to maintain a high standard for the site it was the lesser images that were disposed of. I hope for the sake of those high standards that policy continues...

i sent a picture first weeks ago but a guy duplicated it so i reported him but moderator deleted my picture. it doesn't have better resolution than mine, maybe only a few pixels better. why did u delete mine? that's not fair.
