Reconfiguring the profile page

I think it would be nice to be able to make the left side of one's profile page have the wide boxes and the right side have the thinner ones.

For my profile page, I use the wide box side for everything about myself as a Listal user. The wide size is great for the texty About Me and About my collections, Interests, and Collection stats.

The thin side is for everything about my social networking and things having to do with my Listal friends, and since there's only three boxes and comments don't tend to be very long the thin size works fine.

Now, this creates a problem because the wide boxes are automatically on the right and the thin ones the left. On thinking about it, though, I believe it would make more sense for my profile to have the wider About me and my basic information on the left and my thinner Comments and interpersonal usage of the site on the right. This is how it's done on most sites - for example, somewhat, deviantART.

I'm content with the way my profile is currently laid out, but if enough people want to switch the sizes of the columns I'm flexible on that. If nothing else it'll save me the headache of trying to leave a comment in the left column the way things currently are set up. Leaving a comment in the smaller column means the text box scrolls as I'm typing, & then when I post I have to reload the page just to make sure everything's there that I typed. Oftentimes the text box in the left column tends to be smaller all around, so that when I've typed some longer comments I've had to copy/paste my text elsewhere to make sure I say what I want to say & then copy/paste it back to the comment box.

So if the left column winds up being the bigger one, I'll switch my comments over to the left side & would encourage others to do the same.
