Recommend Some Anime!

Now I love to watch anime - I usually collect it in the form of fansubs and, later on, as DVDs if I really liked the series.
I'm looking for recommendations here. I like a lot of the psychological horror/odd series, as well as comedy series and the like.
The lesser known the series, the better. Though I love just about everything.

FLCL and Hellsing are all I've seen, but you really oughta try them. Hellsing has some hilarous quotes, but FLCL is just all around weird and awesome.

Embarassing to say it, but Eiken was hilarious. It's sophomoric and light hearted, & all about Japanese obsession w/big boobs + male teen awkwardness. I was surprised to see it on Comcast Cable at one point recently.

I'm currently working my way through Genshiken: The Society for the Study of Modern Visual Culture and it's alot of fun. Galaxy Angel has been quite good as well. You absolutely cannot go wrong with Jungle wa itsumo Hare nochi Guu (Hare + Guu). Origin - Spirits of the Past felt derivative, but is good eye-candy and entertaining.
