Really need improvments to Games section

I'm trying to use the Games section more, but keep getting so frustrated by four things:
1. Too many duplicates
2. Too many amazon.com and amazon.co.uk clone entries (which causes even more duplicates) - this is taken care of for new releases because now it only relies on amazon.com, but so many older titles in database are still messed up
3. After you search once in amazon.com, it doesnt default back to listal's databased, even after a few days logged off, it still remembers amazon.com search, which can be confusing.
4. Inability to filter searches by platform - I don't have an Xbox, Xbox360, PS2, PS3, PSOne, PSP, and so on, so when I search for 'Call of Duty', rather than get 100+ results and then sift thru many pages just to find PC version of CoD4, I'd prefer to search ONLY PC Games and it should find it right away.
But basically, by adding in ALL platforms to your search, and then multiplying by all duplicates found in all platforms, you're left with a nearly unusable search function.

1 & 2 : Maybe I could hide (in the search) the amazon.co.uk entries for now until it's possible to merge all the duplicates
3: I did that originally for convinience when the site was new and the database didn't have all the games. I will think about removing it now.
4: I will add this soon

1&2: that would be nice, for time being. though for some older titles, the amazon.co.uk entry has a lot more users, more ratings, and more images than the correct amazon.com entry. so i'm not sure if hiding them could be ok. tough call. might maybe wait until the merge is upon us.
3: default to 'local database' would be ideal, especially after this thing i just discovered (not sure if its a bug or by design, but i think it sucks):
www.listal.com/search/games/1/?query=cart
I went to add an old game to my list called CART Racing. It wasn't listed in the Local Database. Only found 4 entries. I did a CART search in Amazon.com instead, and it found a lot of stuff, but it seems to have added ALL Cart search items automatically to the local database, even such useless crap like a wristband, Gameboy Flash cart sets, and other stuff, as well as it seems like 2 or 3 versions of the CART game I was looking for.
So anyone else that searches for CART will now get flooded with all that crap as well :)
shouldn't it work as such? search amazon.com. find it. and only when item gets added to your list, does it also add it to 'local database'? this auto-add search behavior might've been handy early on in listal's life, but it seems like it just clutters everything up right now.
