Rating user reviews

What do people think of being able to rate user reviews?

I've seen some really great reviews, but at the same time, I've seen people who just say a single word or something that's not so much a review, but an exclamation...

Not sure what the ratings would do, but it could help push the "better" reviews to the top of the list...

Maybe we could use a system similar to other sites and just have a vote on the reviews to say if they were useful or not (or something along those lines). If we were able to rate reviews then people might just rate highly the ones they agree with, or visa versa.

Also, there could be a minimum word usage for the reviews to make sure people aren't just saying one word...

I want to add ratings for everything, profiles, lists, forum posts!

I want to do it a simple positive voting only, thumbs up.

Yeah, that would be better, wouldn't it? Then we would be able to bump up the better ones and leave the others to stay the way they are.

Thumbs down might be nice if there was a way to "hide" those with less than zero, and maybe cap it so people don't make anything over -5 (for example).

Then again, maybe I'm just over-thinking it. :) Thanks for all the work you put into the site, it's always improving.
