Ranks

In the forum, my rank says 250 but strangely when I post in the forums, it says my rank is 284?

dont worry about it ranking is not everything.

The stats accessible through the forum lists are generally correct (for points/rank anyway), elsewhere it is generally lagging behind. I'm not sure when ranks last updated, but it's been a while.

Edit: as mrhoundoom rightly says though, points aren't really that important, just have fun making lists.

They just did a point breakdown and when I post in the forums, it still says 284? I know points aren't important but why else do point breakdowns?

Remind me what I posted again so I can either affirm or refute its irrelevancy, if you would; I'd never post something purposely troublesome except if I were especially stoned on something weird

It was spam. One of those super obnoxious chain post things.

I wouldn't bother, looks like somebody fancies a bit of jolly trolling. It was spam, and no specifics are needs, the mere fact that so many consecutive comments needed to be deleted is proof enough.

Did you recall the material itself prior to its deletion? Because if not, there'd be no way of telling whether many of those posts were accidentally posted via "double post" and remained empty, yes?

You posted the same chain post 9 times then a 10th post that said "Sorry, I needed a medium to post these on because I'm superstitious, and thus I settled on here."

Clearly you are abusing your forum posting right so let me be clear. Further behavior such as this will result in you losing that right.
