18 years, 2 months ago at Mar 13 0:43 - I've spent a few hours today adding parts of my collection as well as adding tons of new DVDs. My questions now:
how can I add a new person? I found an actor not listed here, but couldn't find a way to add him.
how can I edit information on products already added? I've added a lot of DVDs to my collection without noticing that main actors were not listed (which is obviously messing with my statistics now). It would be so much easier to just add the missing actors, i.e., instead of removing the DVD from my list and then creating a completely new one.
I hope you can help me, I've been looking like crazy for a manual or "how to" or something...

This issue has been brought up in the past and Tom is in the process of coding up fully-editable entries, including modifying/adding missing actors. I think it will be up and running before the end of the month? *crossing fingers* :)

Tom, the site's developer, mentioned in another thread that many directors are missing because of IMDB's recent changes to their database and web pages, and plans on not relying on IMDB anymore in the future for database updates.

18 years, 1 month ago at Mar 16 21:04 - The dvds are not linked to imdb but in the future I will allow dvds to be linked to movies so the director/actor information will come from there. No point in updating multiple dvds and movies which all have the same information.

Umm... sure there is. Unless you're phasing out the collection side of the site, that is. What about DVD special editions? If you pay a lot for something wouldn't you rather show it off? Or if you want to keep track of the exact DVD you have you would probably like to see the exact cover and not just what everyone else has. Thats another thing, it if were linked to movies then wouldn't it show the film poster (if thats what's selected)?
