Question to Tom and the comunity =)

Well, i have talked about this several times before, and i might sound picky but there is something that really is...annoying to me ( maybe its a string word :p ) : The bg gradient that makes the middle and bottom of the item a bit messy, is it only in my head or does it look better like this : img823.imageshack.us/img823/1734/unled2zz.jpg



( or even in boxes like profiles, but that would take more trouble than its worth looking for all the work Tom has been making... ) and i used the same blue for the quick example =)

I guess it just messes with my eyes then =( to much white confuses me a bit in websites,the previous imdb design was a pain, critiker... still a pain. trakt.tv works for me ( design wise ).
