Question regarding uploading Videos

I've added a few movie trailers I found on YouTube, but it happens that they get taken off of YouTube and they're no longer available.

So question one, anyone know an easy way to save a Movie Trailer I find on youtube, and then upload it to listal from a local drive, so as to prevent it from being deleted?

Secondly, if I wanted to take a few minutes capture of a film and upload it, is it legal, and if so, what's maximum length of a movie clip before it's considered a breach of 'Fair Use'? Or should we just stick to movie trailers only?

Here is an example I've put together. (by the way Tom, that VideoEgg tool is flippin' sweet - or as Borat would say -- 'VERY NICE!!!)

See, I'd like to put a roughly 2 minute long clip from some of my favorite films, as well as official movie trailer if I can find it on youtube. I think sometimes a movie trailer works, and sometimes its just not quite enough, so a well selected 2 minute clip can give the audience a very accurate feel of the movie, but naturally I try to make a clip that doesnt contain any spoilers.

I just want to make sure it's not a breach of copyright to take a 2 minute sample of a film for preview purposes.
