Question about film Submarine (2010)

Ok, so there are several movie connections in the film. The one I have no clue about is the painting above Lloyd's bed. I'm pretty sure it is from a famous film but I'm not sure.

I want to say "Scene's From A Marriage"??? But haven't seen the film so... any help would be appreciated.

Grrr. Haven't seen Scenes From a Marriage either. But now I'm curious. It reminds me of something out of Waking Life, but I think maybe I'm just seeing the similarities in line and form, not necessarily a particular scene. Hmmm?

I was thinking Waking Life but the person on the right is wearing a white shirt which is throwing me off.

Bah... I give up... again...

I don't think it is "Scenes From A Marriage" just based on the white shirt.

The other two posters in the room are Le Samouraรฏ (1967) and Le cercle rouge (1970) both directed by Jean-Pierre Melville and staring Alain Delon.

So... possibly one of their films?

Or possibly part of the Antoine Doinel serise. Which would make more sence to me but several of those films just got the Criterion treatment a few years ago and were out of print in the US... so... still on my bucket list.
