Doesn't third party firmware on your psp void the warranty?

well its called "Costume Firmware"
it is different from "official firmware" which is the one that comes with the PSP when you buy it of the store.
With costume firmware you can have Xbox 360 on your psp, have Nintendo 64 on your psp, PS3, and even play the games that dont even come for the PSP, You can put lots of stuff on "costume firmware". I have Costume firmware "3.90 M33" if it wasnt costume it would be just plain "3.90"
the "M33" next to it, kind of hacks the PSP and makes it available to put on the PSP different stuff like "psptube" in which you can see youtube videos on your psp.... Also you can put "windows vista" on your PSP!!! crazy huh
if you want to learn how to do all of this, just reply

not be a prick, but i'm pretty sure its 'custom firmware', not 'costume firmware'... unless your PSP is playing to audition for the Cats musical or something.

custom firmware = hacking
hacked psp = happy psp/owner
you do it wrong and all you have is a shiny $200 paperweight. I've read some about this. Can't remember if it really does void your warranty or not.

It would void your warranty because frankly Sony are making you a PSP to play PSP games, if you then decide to do something else with it that it is not meant for why should they fork out cash to repair it back to its original reason of use if you break it?
