ps3 v.s xbox 360

definitely the ps3. But the wii is better than both.

1) Isn't there already like four threads about this?
2) You can't vote more than one, Yosho.
3) PS3 is overpriced, and graphics are not the only thing that matter. 360 is a good average next gen system. Wii has no good games, and the new controls are really just lame.

360 is crappy it has like a 40% failure rate(for you stupid people, that means 4 out of 10 will fail very soon to the purchase date.)

I happen to have a 360, and it's good. And you just get it replaced. But yes, they do break alot.

I'd still go with the Wii betweeen the three (Xbox 360 has awesome library of titles, but the 30% - now 12% or so - failure rate is just too scary to consider that system). PS3 and Wii are shooting about 1% failure rate, typical for electronic equipment. But Xbox360 is a lemon. Some are on their fifth and sixth console! (all warranty repairs, but still, talk about annoying)

But the PS3 has some crazy wicked games coming out in 2008, so it should be interesting. By year's end, I think Xbox 360 will be in 3rd place, Wii still in first, but maybe PS3 will be almost at same level of sales as Wii (March '08 was another 2:1 win for thw Wii - 700,000 units sold vs 350,000 for the PS3)

Basically, all three systems will have great games to play on, and whether or not you get it, depends on your personal taste in games. Just look at the games available and there you go, go with the system that fits you.

Also, is it just me or has DefenderofKnowledge have to bitch about at least SOMETHING in every gaming thread I step into. Please, just stop it.

I know! let's all actually STATE WHY we think your favorite system is great! And not just "PS3 SUCKS WII ROCKSS!" How about "The controls for the Wii are very often confusing, and just plain annoying, making it more fun to play the same game on a different console", or "The Wii's internet is so abd, I could circle the globe three times running backwards before it gets through one 2 minute match in SSBB"?

oh really? ask my 5-year old nephew who figured out the Wiimote right away, and when i showed him a gamecube game and gave him a Wavebird to use, he was trying to make Mario move by spinning and rotating the Wavebird around.

despite what you claim, the Wiimote is the greatest thing to happen to gaming since NES came in and save the industry from total collapse. if a 5-year and an 85-year can use it with ease, you know its gonna be unstoppable. The only thing worrying me with the Wii is very few third-party games use the Wiimote effectively. Then again, Nintendo first-party titles can easily keep the console going strong all the way til end of the generation.

No, but seriously if I had to choose a system based on future games, I'd go with PS3 for just to play NiS and Arc System works games. That is Disgaea and that new one from the guys who brought us Guilty Gear. If I was purchasing based on games that are out right now, it'd be 360.

You obviously haven't had a part trying to teach everyong what to do in Wario Ware Smooth Moves, or spent hours playing Twilight princess. First of all, it gets so annoying just swinging the dang thing around just to attack. Secondly, it's not at all dependable. One time I was swinging my wiimote like crazy, trying to attack, and Link did three of those shield push attacks. While he was doing them, I actually turned, and looked at my numchuck, which I was holding completely still.

You're so in love with yourself that you don't even know what I mean, do you? I'm not talking about your vendetta against the Wii. You can think about it whatever you want. It's that you seemingly have to talk about it every time you have the chance (or don't have the chance) and derail every freaking thread with it. Apart from the fact that you talk, of course, like you're stating facts and not opinion. Can you please just stop now? Yes, we know you hate the system, get on with life man. There's more interesting things to do than trying to tell everyone how much you dislike a system. I don't know, perhaps go out, make friends, have fun. Better ideas than talking trash about something on a forum.
