Promote a pic

What a pic needs to be promoted to front page?

My pic have 10 votes and I have nothing promoted =(

I´m sad

It seems that pics are promoted with 7 votes. Maybe your pic was promoted when you reached 7 votes and you missed it?

The other possibility is that this pic comes from your private section and there is good chance that the pics coming from a private section are not promoted.

Still, pics are not my speciality so I may be wrong.
