Profile picture

So I just uploaded a profile picture on a lark, and I knowticed the little black dot in the corner. At first I tried to clean my monitor, then I check the file on my file system. Finally I realized that everyones picture has a black dot in the lower right corner, whats the deal?

Good catch! Didn't notice it with mine because mine's, well, black but squinting, I can make out the little speck there in the corner where I have my white border.

Yeah this is strange but I think I will upgrade it soon to allow bigger pictures in the style of most other sites.

Any chance you'd also permit GIFs and/or PNGs? My own avatar is really more suited to GIF than JPG and as such I had no JPGs on file, had to convert one. This is the only site I know of that restricts images to JPG only.

Yeah bigger icons would do nicely indeed...can't wait....
