Problems with notes

When I'm using Ä, Ö, ', ^¨ and other signs like that in the notes, something weird text appears in the box. It's something like: äääööääöäöääö'äöåäö¨'åöå'. Somebody please help me.

I have created a list with those characters here and they seem to display fine.

I did noticed a problem when editing the note it froze, I've fixed that problem.
