Points system!

I was wondering what is the points system how do you earn more points? i have rated tons of items and i have had the same points for a long time and they haven't gone up! what is going on?

Personally, for the longest time most of my points were gotten through tagging items and adding notes to lists.


But really, just create lists and keep on doing what your doing. I have quite a few points right now for uploading images but all those points are going to go away soon since they are over three months old and past their 'freshness date'

It looks like the lists you currently have are system created when you "Favorite" something. Which is great... but those always remain semi-public and don't get very many votes. So you might want to branch out and create more custom/personal lists.

One thing you might consider is creating one of the 'meme' lists... there are tons of variations out there but make for a nice list icebreaker and then people get to see a little bit more about your tastes.

At the very bottom of my "Unofficial FAQ" there is a list of a few of the standard memes lists but if you just search for meme... it will bring up all sorts of other types.
