many other fourms do that and i find it kind of kool
and wat they alsodo it put a star next to the user who is loged in so people can know if they are on or not..they also give a choice of being invisible or not.

I've been wondering how exactly the points system worked for a while so I'm glad this came back.

There is no way to change the forum skin and probably won't be in the future but I will add online status at some point.

It's changed slightly, mainly adding some things you can earn points for and reducing points for chat forums.

Can you explain what "Lists with at least 10 items" means? I have more than 10 items in each of my DVD, Music, Books, and Games lists, but don't have any points for them.
Does this refer only to custom lists? I don't really use custom lists anymore because it's easier to just use tags to organize items.

I have kinda the opposite when it comes to the lists.
I have points for the default named lists but none of my custom lists.

I notice that my breakdown includes points for 152 reviews, but my profile only lists 32 reviews (which is correct).
I'm guessing that my picture comments (this, for instance) are being counted as reviews, which probably isn't fair to those doing actual product reviews.

Too many problems over copyright violations to implement this, myspace already has an established network of artists who upload songs.

Tom, I don't think this is working properly. I just added 9 custom lists to my DVD section, but none of them are accounted for on my points breakdown page.

If you view my DVD page, all my custom lists say "0 items", but if you actually click on a list it shows all the items I did, in fact, add to it.

go to each list, drag'n'reorder some of the items, and then go back. You will now see correct # of items as well as image of first image, rather than your avatar.

That's not a great plan unless it's only your friends who can see it as people can use info like that for ID theft. I'm guessing Tom would write it like that anyway.

17 years, 4 months ago at Dec 10 23:12 - As of yet, the only privacy settings are blocking users. I don't like the concept of MySpace-overbearing privacy settings for the site. We have to be able to share the experience, right? But age and stuff can cause problems, though blocking has done for a while. Banning's also perfectly acceptable.
