Pictures deleted

I uploaded a few images last February 10, portraying the Oscars 2012 Nominees (and I was thankful for recieving several votes for them)...
Today I saw a list made with my pictures, I was glad, but when I watched better these pictures were all reuploaded last February 13 by another member (who did the list).
I thaught "now will be a lot of new duplicates" like Rooney Mara case but several of my others pics were just deleted, keeping the new ones... I had no notification of this, and I wondering why were my pictures deleted? Because the new ones are bigger?

I don't remember if I deleted any of these or not, it's hard to keep track of all the duplicates, but, either way if the new ones where a bigger resolution that's probably why the old ones where deleted. That is usually the case and the only reason I know of why they should be deleted as duplicates.

Ok, it´s just that from all the pictures I uploaded here just one was deleted, and I received a notification... and now with all the pictures deleted I received nothing... anyway... thanks for your answer.

I honestly have no idea why you didn't get a notification about them. Maybe Tom can answer that.
