Petition: KILL THE NARUTO GROUPS !

Tom, we, the long-time members, urge you to do something about it now.

I think it would be better off to totally disable the groups until a new and improved groups - one that keeps those narutotards segregated from the rest of society - is ready to be launched.

They contribute NOTHING to listal, are an absolute complete waste of space, and make all normal threads, most which are great, completely buried within hours by idiotic postings like 'yay' or 'ok!' in a couple dozen near-duplicate threads.

So for the love of this site, let's fix this disease that has infected our site...

First to sign. Something needs to be done and fast. I urged Tom to nip it in the bud ages ago but now it has bloomed it has become a much bigger problem to deal with and it is ruining the community.

well, ignore my *bumped* threads. but when two or three of those narutards log on, every single non-naruto thread is on page 2 or 3 in 15 minutes.

this is a typical chat in our groups, in last few hours only. multiply it by 15 active naruto threads and no wonder people are leaving Listal! Tom, are you listening to us? Do something about it. I'm thinking of leaving abandoning Groups altogether, but its a shame coz there are lots of great buried threads in there.

Just go nuts. Just say mundane posts that contribute nothing to listal will get deleted and may result in a temporary ban. Any other forum, the mods would have been all over their arses.

Signed and I agree with Prelude that the groups should be disabled until something is sorted out. It's either that or it looks like everyone is just going to leave, which would suck. I for one can't be arsed with the groups anymore, I've already lost enough brain cells.

I will release something today which will make things a lot better

I even like being able to turn off 'General discussion', and just keep 'Movies', 'Books', etc, sections, as well as Listal Development (its nice to see that on first page as well.

Will these settings be remember on a per-session mode, or is it tied in to our accounts?
