Personal Pages Layout

esourcemag 18 years, 8 months ago at Sep 19 9:59 -
I think when you go to the personal pages (sub url) a few things should be there:

1)
RSS feeds
2)
Home, Owned, Wanted, Explore, Preferences, Forums links should be on the main page (where it resides now on the Listal main page is cool).
3)
A Featured Product at the uper most top would be cool (layout example here: [Link removed - login to see] )with large image and details
4)
My Tags, My Directors/Actor/Actress (in on area not 3 on the main page), and my gaming platforms all on the Main page
5-6 and 7)
RSS feeds from my page!!!! Recently added, favorites,
8)
Friends list on main page and a sub page for more detailed upload/additions infomation.
9)
NO BLOGS!! Just don't do it. Forums and comments on items cataloged will allow the focus to be on the stuff, not the person uploading the stuff (if you get those API'S out the door, you can allow people to put their stuff lists on their own blog or website and any widget/gadget that might have)
10)
I know there was something else...

I am willing to put together a screenshot of what I mean to help in discussion.

I have difficulty understanding what you mean on a lot of these points but I have tried to reply anyway.

1) You mean link to different rss feed options available? (I assume you mean on the homepage?)

2) The sub url is for viewing *only* and things like preferences are hidden.

3) Not sure what you mean exactly, how would this be choosen and do you mean on the homepage?

4) I would like to add more stuff to the homepage (but not all actors etc.. possibly just the top 5) What do you mean favorites? Favorite items?

8) Friends lists are in development but probably won't be viewable by others.

9) I was thinking of adding blogs but linked into each product page e.g. (you can post a blog entry on a specific dvd) and/or I might add a 'who blogged this' for external blogs as used in digg.com

I'll show a screenshot. It might make it easier for me to explain.
