Partial release dates

I think I've mentioned this before, but I can't remember where..

How come we can't enter parital release dates for books and games? A lot of exact dates aren't available for items and even having the day missing makes it not show up on the product page. Will we be able to have this in the future? And what about adding them to items (like custom ones) where it was skipped out in the entry process?

I also remember talking about this before... but for birth/death dates for persons.

We could have much more info if this is eneabled
