Paintball

I used to go paint balling when i had the time... Sigh, not anymore though.... :(

I have no idea what kind of gun i used to use. I was never really into that type of thing... Sorry...

I've never been as it doesn't particularly interest me... but love hearing the stories of painful paintball wounds. My brother's been a few times and always comes back with massive bruises, depsite all the protective gear.

Please don't take over this thread complaining about the narutards.

Heh... I just wanted to relate it to the topic, y'know?

The school I went to last year had a paintballing club. It was led by the the BCIS teacher. (Don't ask me as I don't know what it means; it was a computer class). I actually sat with the three guys who were in the club. One of them even asked me to join. I told him that paintball isn't really my thing (although I could've really used some friends). He just kept inviting me, though. I talked to my mother about it, and she thought it'd be worth it to paintball if I could socialize as well. Then I told her about how the paintball club doesn't provide guns or equipment, and she thought the idea was ridiculous.

I did go paintballing at Camp Du Ballon Rouge, a camp for children with Tourette Syndrome, but we just shot cans and stuff. I was glad about that, and I had a lot of fun. The other guys just blasted like all heck, but I timed my shots for accuracy and whatnot. I was the last to finish.

One of the girls who came in with the later cabin was complaining about all the preparation time. "When are we going to shoot... crap?" she questioned. "Dunno," I said. "You should be shooting paintballs fairly soon, though." It's not my wittiest comment, but it sure made her look stupid.

That's pretty much the extent of my paintballing experience. And all this past year.
