Opera wigs out?

DefenderOfKnowledge 17 years, 1 month ago at Apr 3 21:31 -
Hey, I just start using Opera recently, and just getting on here, it's seriously freaking out. In the groups, I have to continually refresh to show that new posts have been made in topics. In one thread, the last 4 posts just didn't show up. There's a few other things that have been going on.....

What browsers do yall use?

I use Internet Explorer at home. I've never had a problem with it.

I use Safari at work.

Opera sounds gay.

You use IE, and Safari, and Opera sounds gay?

To be honest, ever since last year, I've been a diehard Firefox fan. But recently, I just want something that's faster! Firefox is great for addons and such, but I don't really get any....so it's just slow.

I'm just taking Opera for a test drive, and I'm not so sure.

What happens is that at the groups homepage, I have to refresh to see if there's any new posts, and re-order the threads. Then when I click a thread that I've already been in, I have to refresh to see any posts since the last time I was there.

I don't feel the need to customise every part of my browser to make it feel more convenient. I'm happy with an easy loading window.

Firefox is the best browser by far. You must have really overloaded it with features or have rubbish system specs if it's running slowly!

I wonder where Internet Explorer got their tab idea from! Opera is a horrible browser and I'll never forgive it for having ad boxes built into it from day one.

I still think Crazy Browser is better than Firefox, I like the just push enter after the address bar and having a new tab open up of that address. You dont have to faff around with clicking to make new tabs.

I guess some people prefer unstable browsers. Firefox has a myriad of plug ins that you can add. It also has an in-line spell checker, so that every word you type is spell checked like word. An essential tool for being pretentious, as is the plug in that shows me a dictionary.com definition of every word I ever want to double click on!

Firefox FTW! I love it so much I even put it on a nifty flash drive so I don't have to be bothered with IE at a friend's house bwahahahahaha.

But I use Safari when I'm on the Mac. :P

GemLil, check out the Tab Mix Plus extension for the fox. You can customize tabs like mad. make certain type of links open in new tabs, others in existing tabs, and others in new windows. make tabs selectable by mouse-over (no click). easily undo closed tabs. have multi-line tabs. and so on.

Fifefox, with a select bunch of add-ons, is untouchable, IMO.

Well, I love the Firefox has plugins, and a spell checker, but it just takes too long to start sometimes.

What the heck is crazybrowser?
