One page, two artists

Silvia 10 years, 10 months ago at Jun 27 4:33 -
Hey! Anybody here knows how to add two artists with the same name? It's a problem because when I try to insert some movies made by a director, they go to the same profile page of the model with the same name. How can I separate both?

I tought to criate a page using the name of the artist followed by the suffix "II", but It's esthetically ugly. So... please, someone, help me.

Unfortunately, you have to add something to the name in order to differentiate it with the already existing profile.

Have you tried adding the movie first? That way you can click the name of the director on the movie page, which will create a new page for that person.

Seems to me that Listal follows IMDb's convention of adding suffixes ("II", "III", "IV", etc.) to namesakes.

For instance, we have

actor Harrison Ford born 1942
www.listal.com/harrison-ford

and

actor Harrison Ford (II) born 1884
www.listal.com/harrison-ford_ii

Other example:

actor Colin Farrell born 1976
www.listal.com/colin-farrell

actor Colin Farrell (II) born 1938
www.listal.com/colin-farrell_ii

I guess the names are created automatically when a movie with those people in it is imported from IMDb to Listal.

The only difference I see between IMDb and Listal is that Listal does not use the suffix (I) after the first person with same name.
