The Office - Brit or American?

Which version of The Office do you prefer?

I've seen both, and while I think the British version is funnier in some ways (more realistic), I think Steve Carey (spelling?) is a comic genius. What do you think?

I think they're both excellent in their own right. I love Steve Carell, but Ricky Gervais is also amazing in the way he conveys utter awkwardness. I prefer the Jim/Pam relationship in the American version, but I think I like Gareth Keenan slightly more than Dwight Schrute. I love both versions of the show immensely!
