Odd suggestion: Advertising Forum

Okay, so I randomly thought of this after seeing YET another adversting post, and thought, Hell, why can't they disappear, Listal isn't getting paid when they just spam a post, it'll just get deleted, so both lose sides lose out

What if there was an advertising section that say, everybody could VIEW, but if you paid money, you could post advertising that would not be deleted, as long as it follows the guidelines on this site (Takes into account not everyone here is over 18, and it doesn't sell something illegal to minors)
like maybe, it gives them something like the VIP or Moderator heading, but it doesn't do anything but let them post in a place for as long as they like.
Make it cost a low price, and you've got a steady income, the cash for the business -may- start flowing, and it'll benefit listal more as well

I mean, I doubt money is really needed, but it may be a good idea, correct me if I'm wrong

Although, now another thought arises...
would doing that make the monthly server fees rise? or would they remain the same?
as that could potentially put Listal in a bad spot if the fees increase because it would take some time before people find it

The people posting spam threads would never pay for advertising, they post to thousands of forums at a time, sometimes using automated software ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spambot ) or employing cheap labor to post them.

I just never understood why someone would be so stupid as to do that when it's all going to be deleted by any Forum that is actually being used actively

Why would one waste their time doing such a thing for maybe at most 1 click on a bypasser who happens to notice it? it's beyond me I guess... o.O

1 click is all they need to make it worth their while! They work on the assumption that once it a while a post will attract business their way.

Basic rules of business. Same reason you get junk mail in the post - but post costs more than spam, so you get more spam!
