Obsessed

I was wondering what your Obsession or hobby is. I use the word obsessed, because some would say I was obsessed with Buffy the Vampire Slayer (figures, books, comics, calendars, puzzles, lunch boxes). I have a mild obsession with Harry Potter & Batman.

You could say I have a healthy obsession with the LotR universe and Nolan's filmography. These are 2 subjects I'm always interested to talk about as well as being up to date with news of LotR movies/games/etc or a Nolan new film. I also used to follow anime and gaming a lot, not so much anymore.

^AWESOME!!! Yea I'm almost obsessed with L.O.t.R. The reason I say almost is because I need to read the books about middle earth and etc. hahaha

My obsession is metal music and studying Christianity and other religions :)

If you have seen the trilogy, try to read The Hobbit. It's great how it ties in with the first movie and it's an easy and enjoyable read (this coming from a guy who rarely reads romances/novels). Most likely you'll jump into Tolkien's huge universe right after :P

Uh... What if we have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder? Is that an over-qualification? =P

I phase from one obsession to another. These tend to last for a number of months - a major one will last somewhere between two months and half a year. I go back to previous obsessions as I have all my life, and by this time pretty much all of my rotating obsessions are ones I've had already.

These include, mainly:

Alternative rock music
Godzilla and giant monsters/robots
Greek mythology
Platforming, and more specifically Metroidvania, video games
Superhero comics

I will say that alongside these obsessions I have a number of fixations. I'm very big on organizing my things, but not beyond what is only (at least to me) practical. I'm constantly thinking about God, heaven and my faith and I rarely get away from a number of the worries that come with life in general. But then OCD is simply a more frequent form of what everyone experiences in smaller degrees or rarer doses.

Right now its Inception every time is on HBO i have to watch it. For music its Mastodon and Cradle of Filth. I always have God though thats easily a number obsession

I am totally addicted to NCIS, tomorrow is the new season I am so excited!

hmm definitely anime, manga and japanese culture...all this stuff can probably entertain me my whole life.
Also I really dig going to the theatre. It's always a unqiue experience! A play can be tremendous or disasterous but it always manages to make me think about it for some time.

Now I should really continue doing homework instead of distracting myself here :D
