Not finding pictures

I'm posting a new list, and every time I search for a picture, it can't find one. Why is this? I know the pictures I'm looking for are on the site.

How are you searching for pictures? I don't believe there's an Image Search feature yet on the site. Are you searching on the Actor's/Actress's page, or on that of their Movies/TV? Those are the best places to check. If worst comes to worst use image URLs from another site if you can find them there until you can find them on Listal.

EDIT: If you're sure the images you're looking for have been deleted, go ahead and upload 'em again.

I'm actually searching for specific actors/characters

If the images you're looking for aren't on the Actor/Actress page or Movie/TV page, that means no one has uploaded the pictures to that area of the site yet (perhaps they've uploaded them to their personal images or something), so feel free if you have the image URLs to post them up!

enter the actor's name into the search, and set the choice button for movie, tv, or dvd.- click search--that should let you see what to click to get to- the profile page for that actor. then you can go through all available photos---- or on your profile page just click his photo or name if you listed him as a favorite--whichever you have-- to access his page---

i looked at your profile and can now see your problem more clearly--your favorite actors have no uploaded photo just like i have no profile photo--in my case it is ignorance of how to upload one----i have no idea why david james elliot of jag doesn't . sorry my help was useless---

Actually, I think her lists not having photos to them is more a matter of their not containing any Actors/Actresses yet.

You don't know how to upload personal photos, Audrey? Let's see if I can help...

1) Put your mouse over the "My stuff" tab and click on "Images"

2) Click on "Post an image" at the bottom.

3) Copy/paste an image URL to where it says "url", or upload a personal image from your computer by clicking "Browse" and finding it in your personal folders.

4) It's always nice to include a title and image description.

5) Read over the disclaimer to make sure what you uploaded is appropriate and click "Add image".

Hobbit, try using the search function on the top-right. As you can see from this search, David William James Elliot has no pictures, but David James Elliot does. Hope that helps.

Perhaps those two should be merged. Tom?
