Non-R1/R2 DVDs

Are there any plans whatsoever to include the possibility of adding DVDs that are not R1 or R2?

I am currently investigating adding region 3 dvds

What about Region 4 ?
There is an important issue to consider, Region 4 is divided by Video System, like this:
Latin America (Brazil, Argentina, etc...): NTSC
Oceania (Australia, New Zealand, etc...): PAL
So you can not only separate the dvds by region but also by video system.

You can add region 4 but they must be added manually via our product addition system :
www.listal.com/addcustom/dvds
I don't think there should be seperate entrys for NTSC and PAL unless the actual contents on the discs are different.

Yes, I've got R2s from Japan, Britain & Europe, R3s from Korea, Thailand & HK, and a smattering of R4s from Australia.
When I add something that's not R1 or R2 the listing defaults to region 2 which isn't very helpful for sorting stuff that's not R1 or R2. The product listing seems to display the region coding properly. I suppose I could just use R3, R4 tags. I agree that NTSC & PAL aren't critical, a tag will suffice for that.

I forgot, I've also got quite a few R0 from all over.

Well Tom,
actually the Region 4 DVDs from Australia are totally different from the R4 from Brazil for example and not only because of the video system, also the covers, extras, subtitles, audio tracks etc.
I tried to enter a DVD as custom as you suggested and
despite the fact I informed it was R4 it shows on my collection as R2, why ?

Added region display problem to bug list.

What ARE R1s and R2s?
