Non mutually exclusive "status" for items

One thing I'd love to see implemented is the possibility to select two (or more) status for a single item.
For example, I may have read a book, but I'd love to have it... so it's both "read" and "wanted". Another common situation is when I already have a book but i haven't read it yet... I want it to be "owned" and "to read"

What do you think about this?

Was thinking that an item with a rating and read status would be the same thing?! But I see a shopping list (wanted) for books or other items to get could be useful - certainly the list might be exported to a shopping sites wish list in time for Christmas.

You can do this already with the "Read Reading Unread" links below the list type.

At the moment there is the list type "Owned, wanted, read"
and the status "Read Reading Unread"

I do want redo this system and make it easier to use and understand because at the moment you can have a list type as read and the status as unread which makes no sense.

On a book page to change the status you need to click edit item, I want to change this as well.

I found the "edit my info" link, where I can change my "unread reading read" status (using a drop-down menu) but i don't see the "Read Reading Unread" links below the list type (i'm not sure what do you mean by list type, anyway)

Below the "Mark as : Owned Wanted Read" there should be "Read Reading Unread" links on your personal list view. You are using the 3 column display mode so sometimes that does not show up, in the 2 column mode it should always be visible.

Thanks Tom! NOW I understand what you said. I changed my preferences and now everything looks like it should.

However, it would be cool to have this links on www.listal.com/book/BOOK-NAME too :D
