For those of you familiar with these lists, I've done some big changes.

First off, I got rid of the PS2, DS and PSP lists, as there were too many for me to keep up with. I'd rather concentrate on the key ones (PC, X360, PS3, and Wii).

Second, I improved the list a lot more, making sure to add as many screen shows and links to trailers as possible, for every single game. As such, I'm no longer gonna be adding useless releases like Hoyle Casion 2009 or Dora the Explorer and other such bargain-bin releases - these lists will only be of MAJOR titles.

And as of today, only the PC list has the new make-over look and up-to-date. The other 3 console lists need to be updated and I'll try to tackle them over the long weekend (its a holiday here in Canada).

Any feedback/suggestion/additions/corrections, please post here, or in each lists' comment. And please, a LOT of effort has been done on these lists. The least one can do is throw them a vote.

If you're good at making lists, or at least know basic HTML, and have motivation and (most importantly) time to keep these lists up-to-date, send me a message and I'll have Tom transfer the list to you. I'll hold onto the PC list no matter what, but the X360, PS3 and Wii are up for grabs to the right people.

If anyone wants to re-start the PS2, PSP or DS list, feel free to do so. Updating the four main lists is tough enough. :)

FYI its a lot more than just the lists. Since these are new games, they usually have to be added manually or thru amazon, and then I have to hunt down any preliminary box art, screenshots, teaser trailer, etc.. The PSP and DS lists were both so unique that keeping them up-to-date was too much. The PS2 list I dropped coz honestly, its a dead (dying) system. There was just a handful of PS2-exclusive releases in 2008, and every other title was just a lower-resolution version of a game that got released on X360 and PS3. You may as well just refer to the 360 or PS3 list and look which ones have a PS2 version as well.

I'll try and make the lists PsP.

An intersting observation I made...

Exclusive Xbox 360 Titles: 3
- Fable II, Gears of War 2, and Halo Wars

Exclusive PS3 Titles: 7
- Motorstorm: Pacific Rift, SOCOM: Confrontation, Resistance 2, Valkyria Chronicles, Killzone 2, inFAMOUS, Final Fantasy XIII

Exclusive PC/Windows Titles: 20+
- big titles such as Sims 3, Starcraft II, Diablo 3, Disciples III, Jagged Alliance 3, WoW Expansion, Civ4: Colonization, Crysis Warhead, STALKER: Clear Sky, and Spore

Wow... shocked by such a huge lack of upcoming X360 exclusive titles (seems PS3 may be the way to go after all), but especially pleased how strong the PC gaming industry is doing, with so many incredible and unique games not found on any other system.

Update: Xbox360 List now up-to-date, and in new format/style.

im most excited about dmc4. then prototype, then birth by sleep. other than that idc.

Quick update on Xbox360 list: Added Street Fighter IV, Darksiders, Wheelman, and Skate 2.

but you're not the only one that does fine updates. Berning and T-Pulla also have added many new games, screens and trailers, to listal database. the trouble with ALL OF YOU is nobody tells me jack shit about them LOL... except you, derron. You told me about SFIV (and i got the other 3 from your RP Ratings list).

So by all means, if ANYONE wants ANY new game appear on any of these lists, please, PLEASE, add it as a comment or post it here. I basically just go by what Gamespot shows as new and upcoming, and their list isn't always the most up-to-date.

Good news everyone. Tom informed me that he has plans to make lists (such as these) have multiple editors. Not sure on timeframe, but I'll hold on (and try to) keep these lists updated until we have multiple editors. Then, we can all work together to keep these lists very dynamic.

(and again all of those are not coming out in the US or Canada or the UK it's not coming out any where but Japan)

Just letting everyone know I'm almost done updating the PS3 list (but you can see it near-finished at anytime). After that, will do a quick updated again on the PC/X360 to any new additions added in this thread, and then i'll start tackling the severely out-of-date Wii list.

Updated the PlayStation 3 New & Upcoming Games list.

Except for the last entry - FF XIII. I did a mix up a while back and merged the FF XIII and FF Versus XIII, which are actually TWO separate games. Will try to get Tom to split them back up and have both entries listed.

Also, if you haven't notice, PC X360 and PS3 lists now have certain BIG releases with a much bigger screenshot image, to make them stand out even more. Its based on anticipation of the release, as well as how many Listal members have it in their 'wanted' lists.

Updated the Nintendo Wii New & Upcoming Games list.

Lots of big new Wii-exclusive releases added to this update, including Techmu 4, Sonic & Black Knight, We Ski & Snowboard, Skate It, The Conduit, the new Dead Rising, Bikini Zombie Strippers, Project H.A.M.M.E.R., Little King's Story, Spray, & Rayman Raving Rabbits: TV Party.

Most aren't coming til Q1 2009 but looks finally promising that 3rd party developers are catching up the the level of Nintendo Wii game releases.

Sorry I haven't been able to help you out prelude I have been working lately.

I'll try and add some PS3 new games.

Touched up X360 & PS3 list. Added some titles to both, but biggest change is now there are two versions of Final Fantasy XIII on PS3 list (the RPG full game, and Versus, an Action RPG PS3-exclusive release). And the X360 list also has a Final Fantasy XIII entry now.

a few more additons across most lists, including:

- Starcraft II for PC is now listed as three separate games, since they will be released as such
- new upcoming 'Wolfenstein' title added to PC, X360 and PS3 lists
- Batman: Arkham Asylum added for PC, X360, and PS3
- Rogue Warrior added to PC, X360, PS3
- Two Worlds: The Temptation added for PC & X360
- X-Blades added for PC, X360 & PS3
- Indiana Jones: Staff of Kings added to X360 (coming to PS3 as well, but no entry in Listal for it yet)
- Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts added to X360
- GOD OF WAR III added to PS3!!! ;)
- Mafia II added to PS3 (already existed in X360, PC version still missing)

Updated PC list to Nov 2nd latest info. A few extra new games (World of Goo looks quite interesting), and two significant date changes: GTA IV for PC got bumped a few weeks back from Nov. 18th release to Dec 2nd, and Sacred 2: Fallen Angel got switch from January 2009 release to Nov. 18th 2008 release.

Also, started to add both Gamespot and IGN scores of 'just released' games near top of the list.

And if you haven't noticed yet, Tom has integrated these lists into the main game page for each respective platform, under the 'New and Upcoming' header:

So now that's these lists are integrated directly into Listal, the more editors we can get to keep these lists fresh, the better. And if you copy the same layout and make one up for new DS, PS2, or PSP games, I'm sure Tom will integrated those as well.

Added Gran Turismo 5 to the PS3 list. Had to do a custom add, as its not in amazon yet, and may not be seen until 2010 or so. Developed and updates on the prologue keeps delaying the full GT5 game. What a shame. It was meant originally as a PS3 launch title.

GameSpot asked if the development of GT5 Prologue meant a longer wait for the eventual Gran Turismo 5, and Yamauchi answered, "This is true, but creating games on the PS3 is so much more difficult than we imagined at first and it took us three years to get here, and I hope our fans understand that we're trying our best and will be moving forward [on GT5] from here on."

I've been keeping the Xbox 360, PC and PS3 lists fairly up-to-date (Xbox 360 gets the more frequent updates and cleanups) but I've been ignoring the Wii list for a while.
