With some suggestions, Tom has been hard at work improving the Game platforms on Listal.

www.listal.com/platforms

- When adding custom games, or editing existing games, platform entry is now a pre-selected drop-down list (to help eliminate spelling errors such as 'PlayStation 2' and 'PlayStation2')

- Added iPhone game platform (I've got a ton of good games I will be rating for this)
www.listal.com/iphone

- Renamed all 'Commodore' and 'Commodore 64' entries into one, 'Commodore 64'
www.listal.com/commodore64

- Renamed 'Philips Videopac' to its proper 'Videopac and Odyssey2', since Videopac was only the European name, while Odyssey2 was North American title

Any other suggestions for new game platforms, now is your chance to have them added to the master list.

There are rumors that the 3.0 Firmware update will include emulation software for backwards compatibility, but Sony has (obviously) not confirmed them. I certainly do hope it does.

I've started to add a handful of iPhone games, all with screenshots and video reviews:

I have over 50 on my iPhone, so its great to see this platform up and running. Its such an incredible gaming platform, thanks to its motion sensing and touch screen. There is one bowling game where you hold the iphone in your palm, and do a bowling arm swing, to simulate throwing the bowling ball (and hope you dont throw your iPhone across the room like I almost did.. haha)... very intuitive gameplay on many of the titles.
