9 years, 12 months ago at May 9 10:01 - I created a list of Namefellows on Listal, that is to say celebrities sharing the same name, to help users tell which is which and pick the right guy when they add pictures to a profile, or the profile to a list.
I have so far listed 33 entries, including for instance "Socrates" (Greek philosopher or Brazilian player?), Bach (Baroque composer or French actor?), Charlie Dupont (a male actor or a female model?), and several others that aroused confusion, had mixed up pics, even mixed up credits.
I personally verified each profile in the list to belong with the person it says to be, added missing data, deleted invalid images when I found them, and so on. Some of the errors had been reported by Supernaut (thanks Scott!) and other users.
If you want me to add other people to the list and have me check for mixed up info/pics, please post the names into this thread and I'll check them as soon as I have the time.
Again, we are talking about profiles for different people sharing the same name, not about duplicate pages for the same person that need to be merged or deleted and are thus to be posted into the merging-people thread.
