My god, why so large!?

I feel like everything is zoomed in! The current site is much, much better

Betalistal has a responsive design. I would prefer that the size would be smaller on big screens with high resolution (mine is 24" 1920x1200).
An option in the profile settings where you can change the size would be cool. I know you can also use the zoom function of the browser but that reduces the quality of pictures.

I have to agree, it is so big it hurts my eyes. I love the site like it is now much better

What screen and resolution? I am using a 17" laptop, 1920x1080

I have a 22 inch screen. I feel like that's a pretty decent size.

You could narrow the bg layout a tad, not much but a little. and you could size down the fonts even further,would create a clean look, but keep the possibility to view the pictures in bigger sizes,because it seems like the picturesize is an important topic for us Listal users,it is,at least to me.
Not that the site looks ugly, it's just that it took
a while for the eye to travel the screen.
Maybe 85-90% will do? Bigger than the old ,smaller than the new.
Before the new version I was all for widening and expanding eeverything!
However, what you do is your decision and one thing is certain...I will adapt and get accustomed to the new layout and I hope all the others will too :)

I'm not fond of the new mega huge size, either. The "notes fixed width" version of lists is nice, but the pictures are too small. I used to prefer the "large notes" version in old Listal, but in beta Listal, the pictures display waaay too big, show up different sizes, and it doesn't look nice and streamlined anymore. Also, and this is a small thing, I much preferred the old font used for links. I don't care about the size, but the font itself was less distracting and easier on the eyes.

Belated, but thanks @ Tom. The large notes display mode looks great now.

I don't mind the larger font sizes but I think more padding or improved line-height to stop that smushed look.
