Who publishes a Fan Fic? Where are they published? I dont really understand the concept.

Nowadays if you put something on the internet it IS published, so many people ignore the though of buying books and just g download them on their computer(Just shows how badly we are abusing technology lolz... and ignoring paper and pencil work)

Aye, you'll never get permission. Flogging a dead horse there mate. Publishing means getting a professional publisher to bankroll the printing and distribution of the book. To me publishers are Penguin, Sage, Collins etc. If its put on the internet, its not published its just on the internet. Which is why I never use the internet for my academic sources.

At my university, if you get a high first, you can (after editing) get your paper published, i.e printed into journals and distributed to universities and libraries everywhere.

Yes,, but publishing doesnt do much nowadays with all of the online books and stuff... and TV... and Video Games... and any other form of technology ^^

I sincerely doubt you will ever get it published. There's already like 8 million Star Wars books and series out there already.
