Music bug?

For some strange reason my REM album is now by Jackie Chan. Doesn't seem to be vandalism, but you never know...

Very strange, I don't really know what caused that, can't be vandalism otherwise it would show up in the changes to that page.

I found a Nine Inch Nails single by two wrestlers... Wrestlers who don't sing obviously. I'll find the link and post it.

I was wondering where my immense number of Nine Inch Nails albums were running off to. I'm editing that. I suggest this action on immediate notice of such bullwhacky.
Wait a minute, now is it even possible to do that? If I delete 'Nine Inch Nails' and type in 'Nine Inch Nails', will anything happen? I'm looking over my artists and purging some albums if I can.
Oh, and what's the course of action for soundtracks? It's just a little irritating when you have one song by someone and they're listed as an artist you own. I think the criteria 'Various Artists' works pretty well, but some entries have a couple of others in addition. What this does is includes a lot of artists but indefinitely leaves out some. In addition, artist pairings on soundtracks are too oddball to label. I'd like a clarification on this before I do anything.

I've had to edit a few artists like that - if you chance it to someone else, then back to the right artist, it sorts the database.
Soundtracks I've personally been sticking [OST] onto the end of the title, and making them "Various Artists" unless every track is by the same artist/group of artists... i.e. About A Boy [OST] would be by Badly Drawn Boy, whereas Trainspotting [OST] would be Various Artists.

You're right, Phil! I changed Head Like A Hole to Britney Spears and then back to Nine Inch Nails and now it's fine. I think your soundtrack reasoning makes sense, so I'll start at that. It really is annoying to have so many artists with only one song.

Something is obviously amiss as I've found evidence of the problem in the Books section too.

www.listal.com/book/patrick-hungry-puppy-intervisual
The only thing they have in common is that I'm the only one who has added them and they have no author listed.

There is a bug somewhere but I don't know what is causing it yet...

I ran into one of these just a few minutes ago. link: www.listal.com/music/kish-kash-basement-jaxx-216830. When I went to edit it though it had the right artist in the edit field.

Changed to Britney Spears and fixed. :)
