And Nanny Poon, how about we respect others' opinions? The messages and basic lyrical approach of an artist is not based on crunchy guitars and tippity-tappity drums. I like old stuff. But I like new stuff, too. I like Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. I also think Bob Dylan's voice is amazing. An artist can stand for something and not jam in the era of Classic Rock.

Though I agree quite a bit about not just listening to singles. An album should be something that you don't merely pick out a song or two from, but one where you lend yourself to the band's creative mindset the whole way through. Art should have artistic motivation, not economic - ie, the first one made cash so let's make a sequel.
