Multiple image uploads, image list upgrades

Image uploads has been upgraded to support multiple files, this works from the personal image gallery, uploading from the item/product page or from the pictures area for each item.

The image lists have also been upgraded so you can add images directly when viewing the list. Just click 'Add images to List' and you will have the option of uploading multiple files or adding from a url, images will be added to the top of the list.

Please let me know what you think and if you find any problems.

When we add a image we must refresh the page,i dont know if its only with me like that?

me i can't posted any pics at all it says THIS FILE NOT ALLOWED. i tried to posted some fantasy art work pictures, some movie posters and some normal pics and it didn't work for all of them.

I have fixed the problem with the refresh, I will also be moving the add image link to the top of the page.

Please can you let me know the following:

1. Are you trying files from your computer or urls

2. Which gallery are you trying to add to.

3. The browser you are using.

4. If you are adding images direct from the item/product page or the gallery page.

If possible please send a file that doesn't work to tom@listal.com so I can test further. I haven't encountered any files that so not work so far.

i tried to posted those pics from my computer (PS3) to my personnal files photo but i didn't tried to posted some pics in some galleries yet.
the art work picture that i tried to posted it's 2880 × 1880 high resolution (996 KO)
in the past month i had a lot of problem to posted some pics but usually it's some extremely high resolution pics but the message was different and it was write at the top of my screen and the message i think it was... error wrong format but it was happening only with 1 pic out of 10
PART 2 i tried to posted a pic in a people gallery and the same message appeared FILETYPE NOT ALLOWED

Please try it now, it may work now.

When you post a photo url in a gallery and add a description - the description does not add... posting a photo from a computer and adding a description seems to work fine.

When you post a url in a gallery - the url code remains in the space making it difficult to add another url... also if you then add a photo from your computer while the url link is still in the box - both photos are loaded.

This should be fixed.

Alright man since you said you're using a ps3 as your computer i thought id try to see if i can add a image using my ps3 and it also said "FILETYPE NOT ALLOWED" so im thinking its something with this past update that is not allowing uploads from the ps3 brower

It seems listal doesnt read the size of the image not sure if that's the problem though

it's exactly that Tim the size doesn't appear it stays at 0 ko but the name of the pic appears. :)

Can you try uploading to a image list ?

it still doesn't work but i can do everything else.

I AM ABLE to post images in BOTH the main product page and the pictures subpage.

As I previously stated, it is only the image gallery on my profile page which will not allow images to be posted. I get this message every time I try: an error occurred fetching this url.

The problem started a few days ago.

My personal image gallery seems to work fine, both with single and multiple upload.
Thanks Tom for the new feature!

Now, if we could have an "Add images..." button in the top end of the page, so that we don't have to scroll down (and wait for all images on page to load on a slow connection) to the bottom every single time, that would be really sweet! :)

There have been some changes added to the code, if you were having problems with uploads please try again and let me know if it is now working or not.

Wow ! it's working Tom i can posted some pics now and it's faster then ever :) thank you very much Tom :D

Danny: Not sure if your message was intended for me but, in case it was, the error message happens regardless of image size (large, medium or small). So very large images are not causing the problem in my case.

Edited to add: it seems to be working OK for me now and I am able to post images in all areas.
