Anyone excited for any movies in (post) production? I'm uber excited for Monster, Watchmen and Arrested Development.

Discuss.

Kyaa! I didn't even realize there was going to be an American live action adaptation of Monster. Now I'm super-stoked! I love the manga, it's wicked good. But it's kinda long so I'm not sure how that'll condense well into a movie but I'm hoping for the best!

I'm also really excited for Watchmen. It's a good incentive to finally getting around to finish reading it. Somehow I just stopped about midway but now I'm determined to see it through the end before the movie comes out. Hahaha. I did manage V for Vendetta in one sitting letsee if I can whip out that magic again.
I just recently saw Stage Beauty, which had Billy Crudup in it and I thought he was fantastic. Imagine my shock and surprise when I realized he was going to be a nekkid blue god in Watchmen :DDDD

Speaking of other movies in production I'm looking forward to watching Dragonball. I'm really hoping for the cheesiness level to be way way out there, otherwise it's just not gonna work for me.
As for (quite possibly cheesy) movies in post-production it's Speed Racer all the way.

I'm really surprised at all these movies I'm looking forward too being based on comics/cartoons. Haha.
There's also Mama Mia! I'm kinda excited to see. I never cared much for Across the Universe but Mama Mia! seems more of my thing. And it has Colin Firth...

And like always I'm always waiting for the next Potter film. Especially with the books over.

Ooh, Monster looks good. I'd never heard of it until now though.

Dude, TOTALLY Dragonball and Speed Racer! And I suppose the new Hulk movie.

I recommend of the manga. It's real good. It won a Tezuka Award (I'm pretty sure anyway though I could be wrong).
Tezuka=GOD OF MANGA
And a bunch of other awards... I think it was also up for an Eisner... but lost out to Old Boy.

Another Hulk movie? *groans*

I totally forgot about Speed Racer! I've been excited for that ever since I saw the preview (which happened to be better than the whole movie following it, National Treasure 2).

You should definitely check out the manga or the anime. It's worth every minute of your time.

I'm not particularly excited about the upcoming Castlevania movie. I'd rather the series have good games with no filming ventures than repetitive games and more support from the teenage cinema whores. If it fails it'd mean a bad name for the series, or maybe it'll fail and provoke more focus on the series' dynamics? It could succeed and add shallow fans to the series so that the developers conform to their bad taste, but then again it could succeed and add more genre-wide culture?

There's supposed to be some wintry scenery in the film. Might be interesting. Dawn of Sorrow's the only Castlevania with snowy climates.

No no, this time it's completely different than the first movie. It's not a sequel.

Wha? I can't tell if you are being serious or sarcastic. How can it not be a sequel? In the first movie he became the Hulk amiright? And then in the second movie he tries to not be become the Hulk, amiright? Please clear up my confusion.
