What movie would you like to see redone?

What movie do you think would be great as a remake with today's technology and upgraded digital movie theaters? Who would you see in the lead roles? IMAX? 3D?

I would love to see a Harry and the Hendersons remake with a CG bigfoot. And as far as 3-D, I say Armageddon

I would like to see a remake of Stephen King's "The Stand" because I liked the book, but haven't heared anything good about the TV-movie. I have to admit though that I haven't watched the original yet.
An Godzilla in 3-D could be awesome if done right.

Battle of Britain (1969), all unknown British, Polish and German cast. IMAX 3D

The Man Who Would Be King (1975), or at least a new special edition DVD so that I don't have to get up and flip it half way through the (2hr) movie.

Imagine the settings of Metropolis in 3D and IMAX. That would be just awesome. But not as a remake, just a digital transport of the original footage.

I would like to see a remake of Wizard of Oz.

I would like to see some remakes of some old Danny Kaye movies with Jim Carrey would be pretty awesome. The Court Jester especially.

Highlander
Put some long hair on Matthew Bomer and a sword in his hand.
Also remake of Interview with the Vampire - Didn't care for Cruise as Lestat

Mobsters (1991). The movie was terrible simply put. Public Enemies was hopfully going to restore my fate in the period piece that is the 1930's (sprinkled with infamous gangsters of that time), but alas it to was dissappointing. So far the only movie that got it right was Hoodlum.
