Moderators Action Required? Unusual Activity - Victoria Lee

pdw55 2 years, 4 months ago at Dec 27 0:41 -
Is it just me who has noticed hundreds of picture votes being done to model Victoria Lee. Suddenly new members voting for her in droves and at the same time giving other models 1/10 - Sounds very suspicious !!

pdw55 2 years, 4 months ago at Dec 27 21:45 -
Yes correct - loads of new users all voting for her with 10/10 and hundreds of picture votes also some of these have at the same time been voting for other models at 1/10 - there is clearly something not right going on with this.
pdw55 2 years, 4 months ago at Dec 27 21:51 -
A lot of this started with Supernova7 sending out mass requests for users to vote for Victoria Lee pictures.
pdw55 2 years, 4 months ago at Dec 27 21:53 -
Along with megant who sent the same request!

I just noticed this. I recently got a bunch of votes for a Victoria Lee video I uploaded 4 years ago. Nobody votes for videos, I thought. What's going on. I noticed all the votes came from accounts with no profile pic and the account names were all one word with lower case letters. Then I saw a Victoria Lee list promoted to the front page. I clicked on it and same thing. It's got 10 votes in the past 24 hours from similar accounts. All these accounts seem to do is vote for Victoria Lee lists, images and videos. What the hell?
pdw55 2 years, 4 months ago at Dec 28 7:31 -
Glad someone else has picked up on this and you are exactly correct. This seems to be an attempt to fix votes, do hope the Moderators step in and deal with what appears to be a blatant cheat of the system.

Here is just a few of those all suddenly voting in the hundreds over the last couple of days.

surtuk
esttbellem

You can also add these users:
hadise
beckiegyn
caitly
oruspu
kaltak
ohanna
babybulut
seviyorum

These all appear to be sock puppet accounts created in the last week by megant and/or supernova7 for the sole purpose of voting for anything related to Victoria Lee. (And voting 1/10 for any model not named Victoria Lee.)
pdw55 2 years, 3 months ago at Dec 29 7:18 -
I have emailed Tom so hopefully he will step in and sort this out.
pdw55 2 years, 3 months ago at Dec 31 19:41 -
Add Pars to the list. Hoping Tom is just off over Xmas & New Year and will take a look at sorting this out next week.
fullfathom 2 years, 3 months ago at Dec 31 19:42 -
This is just scary - don't they have better things to do with their time??
pdw55 2 years, 3 months ago at Jan 1 5:46 -
I know, makes you wonder how long it takes to create 30 or 40 different fake accounts and vote over 2000 times !!
pdw55 2 years, 3 months ago at Jan 2 7:31 -
Another one
synth
pdw55 2 years, 3 months ago at Jan 3 6:31 -
Think synth has voted over 1,000 times in the last 24 hours for Victoria Lee, when you add all the others above ir runs in to many thousands. Hope Tom or the Moderators take some action over this!!
pdw55 2 years, 3 months ago at Jan 8 22:30 -
babybulut and others - I am asking the Moderators to take a look at the vote rigging one more time. If nothing gets done fine I won't bother reporting any issues in future!!

Nothing can be done to stop it. Moderators can ban accounts and delete images.
It's useless banning the accounts when they can simply create hundreds more.
Anyone can create an infinity of accounts with no verification needed.
The site owner could delete accounts but the votes will still remain.
We could delete all images but I'm sure that would irritate people.
We could ban what appear to be the original accounts but it's not a solution.
pdw55 2 years, 3 months ago at Jan 17 18:56 -
Thanks for taking a look, and a shame nothing seems to be able to be done. Basically it makes the rating & voting systems a complete waste of time if people can cheat the system. The original accounts who sent comments to loads of other users to vote for Victoria Lee were Supernova7 & megant.
Perhaps a temporary suspension of voting for Victoria Lee might force the person doing this to give it up, just a thought!!
Bollyver 2 years, 2 months ago at Feb 9 23:56 -
Supernova7 left a comment on my home page asking/begging for Victoria Lee votes. Somebody really got it bad for her.
pdw55 2 years, 2 months ago at Feb 11 8:53 -
Haha indeed they must. Getting really boring now seeing the hundreds of picture votes everyday from the fake accounts.
EatMorePez 2 years, 2 months ago at Feb 18 22:49 -
Now this idiot is trying to impersonate other Listal members with his fake accounts. I've seen two accounts called darkniqht and Edlonghanks repeatedly voting Victoria Lee pics and rating her 10/10 while rating every other Aussie model 1/10. He is clearly trying to pass for legitimate Listal members Darknight and edlongshanks. And darkniqht even uses the same avatar as Darknight. Is there really nothing that can be done about this?
pdw55 2 years, 2 months ago at Feb 19 6:28 -
I noticed that as well, sent Darknight an email about it, and he asked if the fake account could be blocked, suggested he drop SA-512 a message to see if the moderators could assist.

The majority of these usernames are just random Turkish words. These spammers are using programs that create the names and profiles in the hundreds in the blink of an eye. Programs like Captcha could be used and set up to lock people out after a set number of hits from the same IP address without verification, but then again, and I'm not blaming Tom or the server company he uses, this (Listal) is the same website that allowed hackers to manipulate the names of books, TV shows and movies all related to Donald Trump routinely during his administration.

Annoying as it is, spamming is pretty much baked into the cake for regular Listal users. Just trust the people you've been dealing with and let it rool off your shoulders.

I've never been very involved in forum topics, but I was researching GIF and Header issues and I spotted this thread. Who would have time to do all this crap, and why? Seems very pointless to me. Very impressed with the people who have raised concerns. You all make Listal a fun place to spend some time.
TrekMedic 2 years, 1 month ago at Mar 8 0:56 -
@ offs - unfortunately, a website as innocuous as Listal (by that I mean, nothing is bought or sold, no financial information is exchanged, etc.) is "practice," for lack of a better word, for hackers before trying to crack more challenging sites. It can also be argued that some hackers are simply trying to disrupt sites like this because it p**ses off the members? Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, etc., are all subject to being spammed, hacked and such, so why not Listal, too?

I mean is Listal fixed so I can add and rearrange item beyond 500 limit capacity without www.listal.com/ren pop out right?
fullfathom 2 years, 1 month ago at Mar 23 17:43 -
Sal: www.listal.com/ren = Page not found

If you have lists of items exceeding 500, I recommend organizing them into sections. I would try to keep each section under 100 items. If you do not name the section, it shouldn't affect the way the list looks.

Go to "Rearrange List" and add sections using the big, green button "Add Section".

For whatever reason, this seems to make the editing of lists way faster.
sal3000 2 years, 1 month ago at Mar 24 5:38 -
so what you mean is I can add and rearrange item beyond 500 limit capacity without organizing them into sections
fullfathom 2 years, 1 month ago at Mar 24 22:08 -
You will have to store them in sections, but viewers will not realize or be bothered by them if you don't name them or make any text associated with the individual sections.
sal3000 2 years, 1 month ago at Mar 26 4:15 -
I dont care what viewers thought all I wanted add and rearrange item with a infinite capacity without any disruption to build a colassal pyramid that's all I need
