It would be awesome to have a "mobile" section for games

www.listal.com/platforms

It would be there if they were added to the database.

I'd like to see something like a "J2ME-enabled devices". I have some pretty good games like "Doom RPG" (www.listal.com/game/doom-rpg-57043), Stranded (www.midlet-review.com/index?content=review&id=700), Pipes (www.michaelkerley.net/wp/pipes-j2me/), etc.

If you don't mind me asking, whats so enticing about mobile games? Surely it drains the battery twice as fast if you are getting strategy/FPS'/Sims on them. I understand its handy to have because you have your phone on you all the time but isn't the reason you have it on you all the time so you can be contacted?

Gone are the day when phones were phones.

J2ME games are (for the most part) sluggish time wasters. But quite a lot of iPhone games (mostly because of their touch-screen functionality and tilting feature) are actually so unique and so much fun, and cannot be duplicated on a PC or other devices. Anyone who took time to crawl out of their DOS cave and try Rolando for the iPhone, where you tilt the ball over a 2D platform, and tap the screen for jumping, would not diss phone gaming. ;)

p.s. to the non-UK crew on here, who is Phil Dunphy?

He is a character from Modern Family who thinks he is cool because he is down with what the kids like these days.

Obscure non-pop references, at your service.

But I like my DOS cave! :(

In all seriousness, though, I have zero interest in mobile games. That's what the PSP, DS, etc. are for: handheld gaming - go figure!

With the strength of Apple Store games, i'd put the iPod Touch in same 'handheld gaming' status as the PSP and DSi. In fact, many electronic stores here are promoting the iPod Touch in same strength as they promote the PSP and DSi sections.

I really enjoy some of my j2me games... what's the big deal? If listal can have support for them, and some people want to add games like that, i think it's cool:
