Loginmissing actor for "Four Rooms"

18 years, 6 months ago at Dec 20 20:02 - Tim Roth is not listed as one of the actors in the movie even though the whole movie is about his character. also missing two directors, Quentin Tarantino who also started in his story and Robert Rodriguez.

18 years, 6 months ago at Dec 21 12:29 - It's a common problem with movies that have their casting listed alphabetically or by order of appearance on IMDB, where listal get's it data from automatically. If you look at the IMDB entry for Four Rooms, you don't see Tim Roth on first page. Only a after you click on (more) do you find Tim Roth way down the list.
There's two ways to fix this: have Tom load in entire cast for all movies, which might make it very cluttered for some flicks (think Lord of the Rings cast, for example); or allow users to edit/fine-tune the cast list, which Tom has mentioned he may implement that soon. I myself favor making the cast list fully customizable, almost wiki-style, but also bring in entire cast from IMDB entry. Then, fans of movies can filter out the obscure roles (bartender, guy #3, cop #5, etc...) and leave only major actors. I think that would rock. It's ok to get all this information from IMDB, but if we act like a community and upload pictures, add our own reviews, and add our own unique tags, it only seems fitting to allow users to polish up the cast list as well, and perhaps even Movie Description/Synopsis.
Other examples of movies affected by this problem, Keanu Reeves isnt listed in the Matrix sequels, and Mort Vorgetsen (i always am unsure how to spell his name) is missing from ALL LOTR films. Also, Bruce Willis is missing from Sin City.
