Midnight showings.

What movies have you been to midnight showings, and what have you done?

I went to Star Wars 2 and 3, dressed as a Jedi both times, and dressed as a Jedi to Pirates 2. We ran through the sprinklers and played like 15 person squeak, and watched some trained people do lightsaber fights.

I havent been to a midnight show ever, because they don't have em' here, but yea i remember there was an additional show of "Lord Of The Rings" (return of the king) at 11 in the night, it was fun, and I totally loved the movie.

Oh....this is dissapointing....

They're fun, only if you go with friends, and bring things to do.

You can take stuff to have fun with, that's cool, here if we get anything besides food, they'll throw us out from the cinema :D

Yeah.....they kinda bend the rules here for midnight showings....

And my friend works at the theater.

Well I've watched Stay Alive over here, yea it was kinda scary being there with only me and some friends! :D

Well, like I said, we walked over to a gas station that's across the street from the theater, and we walked through the sprinklers as they were coming on, and they still let us in even though we were pretty wet....lol.

We had like 15 people in a circle playing the card game "squeak", there were people watching DVDs, I think alot of us brought in snacks, or even dinner.

Actually, the weirdest part is that in front of one row, there is a bar, I dunno if you know what I'm talking about, but like when the seats break from the lower section to the upper, there is a space, then a bar, then the seats start again. Anyway, usually, this is the most coveted row, because you can prop your feet on the bar, but this time, they were asking us not to rest our feet on it.....I dunno why.

Ohh all right, i get you, yeah i do understand what bar you are talking about, its so cool, hang-outs with friends are always amazing.
Let it be cinema,parks, or even wallmarts ;)..its fun.

I've never been to a midnight showing, but where I live I doubt the cinema would do that kind of thing. Maybe next year when I'm at university though. Watching a film at a cinema in the middle of the night sounds fun for me because I'm usually up at that time anyway. :P

Walmarts, lol. Yeah, me and my friends also did a scavanger hunt at a mall. We didn't steal things, we just looked for stuff. The mall cop was all watching us and stuff.

lol..i did that too..was kinda bored..called up a couple of friends..and started analysing a mart..the security people werent watching us..but the camera's were following us everywhere..lol

I had to ask people what age they think I am......they were wrong....

Camera's could'nt ask me anything..:D

Anyway, I was going to go to Spiderman 3, but I missed getting tickets. Kinda glad, too.

Ohh that is good, wait for the dvd to come in, you'll enjoy that more.

The last midnight showing I went to was a Tarantino triple ~ Reservior Dogs , Pulp Fiction & From Dusk till Dawn.

People don't do anything special for Midnight showings in the UK yet. However for Star Wars and Star Trek Movie Marathons I stayed awake, that was achievement enough! (not boring, just very long)

I'm pretty sure I've been to a midnight showing before, but I can't remember what movie it was for.
