MAJOR bad bug when adding IMDB movies

Any IMDB-listed movie that has an accented letter, which is most of czech films, french films, swedish films that I've tried adding, get their titles truncated when adding the item into Listal, forcing me to do a manual EDIT DESCRIPTION and copy/paste the proper title.

If people don't check the item they just added and don't know how to edit the title, this is what you get:

www.listal.com/viewproduct/movies/34813

Movie shows up as 'Pr' when it should read 'Príbehy obycejného sílenství'

Try this one out, for example:

(its not in Listal yet) - IMDB # 0118675

Real title is 'Bájecná léta pod psa' but I guarantee you 100% if I were to add it, it would show up as 'B' only, because 2nd letter is an accent.

And I believe (although havent seen it yet) if first letter is an accent, the title upon IMDB import shows up as blank.

So unless the people that add movies have to go around and fix up all movies they recently entered, the item would be next to impossible to locate with any sort of search.

Before this gets fixed properly, I urge anyone adding any IMDB titles that have accented letters to double check it after it is added, and please click on EDIT DESCRIPTION and copy/paste correct title, with accents, from IMDB page.

Don't change these two examples, I want to leave them here for Tom to examine them.

I have fixed this I think, this is one title I just added :

www.listal.com/viewproduct/movies/65280

Technical answer :

The problem seems to be caused by running html_entity_decode on the titles. Anyone have any solutions?

Just added this one:

www.listal.com/viewproduct/movies/65281

so it seems to work.

I know a while back, it used to add ? for all accented letters, but then it started truncating the words at first accent letter it encountered. But now it seems to be fixed (knock on wood)

Of course, that won't affect titles already entered in the database, correct? we just have to try to fix up all the ones we encounter, right?
