Lists of lists

I know lists of lists is one of the upcoming features, and I'm hoping it will have some way of not just listing a bunch of lists about a similar theme but actually combining them in some way to reduce redundancy/duplication and enable collaboration. That is, creating a 'master' list that individual members could each have their own version of. I'd like to be able to combine all the lists that are about the same thing so that instead of 10 lists with 100 movies each, there would be 1 list with, say, 500 movies. Its also not very enjoyable voting for a list if there are many items on it that you strongly disagree with or dislike.

You could choose whether to combine a list of yours with that of another member's and vote for which title would be better. You could also vote for another member's list to be added to a master list.

In such a 'master' list, in the 'Who voted' area, clicking on a member would be similar to clicking on a link to their 'sub-list,' but would display the list according to their preferences (their included/excluded movies, ratings, notes, and images). There could then be a tab for all the movies that were on the list that they thought shouldn't be. For each item, there could be a Reviews link that linked to the reviews of the voters of the list, and an Images link that displayed all the images that voters of the list voted for, both of which could be sorted by the votes of voters of the list.

The default display would contain all the movies but, for each, only the note and image that received the most votes (with a 'plus' icon to see the rest if you wanted). If any of the notes/images were by people you followed or friends, they could be displayed instead (If you could rate people you followed and friends, then that would provide a means to choose which, if there were mulitple). The default sort order would be by the number of sub-lists the movie was on and there would also be 2 messages for each item:

1. A warning message like '3 members voted this item doesn't belong on this list.'
2. Average rating of voters of this list:

Benefits:

1. When going back over lists, you don't have to check 10 lists for something--only one.
2. No need to suggest a movie for all 10 lists.
3. Less duplication of comments.
4. It would make the initial creation of a list easier if you could just copy the master list and apply some changes to it rather than create everything from scratch.
