LoginList Edit Access / Sharing Lists

16 years, 4 months ago at Dec 6 19:53 - When list is semi private the 'person who the list is shared with' can only view the list and cannot add/edit it.
When the list is private the 'person who the list is shared with' cannot see or add/edit the list.
I think if a list is shared the 'person who the list is shared with' should be able to see/add/edit even if the list is set to private or semi private.
Also for people lists it says Items instead of People.
For instance if you look on the front page, it shows the list: "Actors who went to war" (22 items)

Try assigning edit access to a semi private list to 'test', post it here and I will see if I can edit it.
For private lists I will change it to allow view access

I'm having trouble with list sharing. Whenever I click on "Save Changes" and view the edit page again, the username I entered has disappeared.
The list I want to share is semi-private at the moment. Is the only solution to make it public in its unfinished state?

i publish a list, another user likes the topic but wants to change items order or other details for himself use only, i think he should be able to save the list in his staff but also to edit it.
there is a little drawback: who is the owner of the list, who get the votes? nothing more simple:
The list edited by another user for personal use only, will be duplicated in favourite list or where he wants, but it will keep private and he will not be able to publish it.
